**Senior Unity AR Expert / Tutor for Jewelry Virtual Try-On (Mentoring + Product Development)**
## **Description**
We are a product team building an AI-powered **Jewelry Virtual Try-On platform** for jewelry retailers. We are looking for an experienced **Unity AR developer** who can work as both a **technical mentor/tutor** and a **hands-on developer**.
Our goal is not only to build features but also to help our engineering team understand the complete Unity architecture, best practices, and production workflows used in commercial AR applications.
This is a long-term engagement if the collaboration goes well.
### About the Project
We are developing a virtual jewelry try-on platform where users can:
* Try necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, and chains virtually
* View realistic 3D jewelry with physically based rendering (PBR)
* Experience accurate face, ear, neck, and hand tracking
* Rotate and inspect jewelry in real time
* Work across Android, iOS, and potentially WebGL
* Integrate AI-generated 3D jewelry models into Unity
* Optimize rendering for mobile devices

## Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who can teach and guide us while actively contributing to development.
Responsibilities include:
* Explain Unity architecture and project organization
* Review our existing implementation
* Build features together through screen sharing sessions
* Teach Unity best practices for production applications
* Guide us in creating scalable code architecture
* Explain rendering pipelines and shader optimization
* Help integrate 3D jewelry assets
* Improve lighting and material realism
* Optimize performance for mobile devices
* Guide deployment for Android and iOS
* Help troubleshoot difficult Unity issues
