WordPress Cyber Expert Needed

The Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA) requests a cybersecurity specialist with WordPress expertise for immediate incident response and remediation. The project involves a complete system audit to isolate and eradicate a persistent malware infection, fix a backend visibility issue affecting 30 days of website content, and revoke access to any unauthorized users. The final objective is to ensure the website is fully secure and implement a security system in place to prevent future security breaches. This is a fixed-fee, deliverables-based contract, and the estimate is provided only for assistance with drafting a response. Payment will be contingent upon the successful completion and acceptance of the deliverables, with notice for changes within three (3) business days. Phase 1: Investigation & Root-Cause Analysis The consultant must conduct a full review of the EALA site to identify and document red flags and weak spots in our current cybersecurity. Phase 2: Complete Malware Eradication Complete removal of any trojan documents, malware or any other identified problems. Scanning and scrubbing the WordPress database of other malware. Phase 3: Content & Backend Restoration Restoring the 30+ days of content that is currently “invisible” in the resource log, so it is fully accessible and editable in the WordPress dashboard. Enable us to safely update WordPress core, themes, and plugins without breaking existing site functionality. Phase 4: Security Hardening & Post-Clean Reporting Checking if the EALA site has been flagged as dangerous, and taking documented steps to clear our domain's reputation. Setting up automated backups stored completely separate from our web host.
