We have a Next.js (TypeScript, Tailwind CSS) website that recently went through a thorough design QA against our approved Figma files. We've compiled a detailed spreadsheet of issues that need fixing directly in the codebase, things like:
- Typography and spacing inconsistencies (headline sizes, text boxes too wide, incorrect type styles)
- Missing or broken hover and active states on buttons and nav links
- Alignment and spacing issues in the header, footer, and section layouts
- A few functional bugs (a logo that doesn't link home, a mobile menu button that doesn't work)
- Small copy fixes (punctuation, capitalization, smart apostrophes)
- Responsive/mobile-specific issues separate from desktop
This is polish work on an already-built site, not new feature development. The full QA spreadsheet will be shared with whoever we hire.
**Budget:** $50 flat for this round of fixes. There may be more small projects like this down the line for the right person.
**Requirements:**
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS
- Comfortable working directly in code (not a website builder or visual editor)
- Access to and familiarity with GitHub for version control
- Attention to detail, this is a pixel-level QA pass against approved designs
**To apply, please start your application with the word "TEAL" so I know you read this in full
We're looking for someone who can open the actual component files and make precise changes, not someone using a page builder that only allows drag-and-drop tweaks.
