MERN Developer Needed — Hiring + Client Management SaaS (Long Term)

We're building a web application that handles two core workflows: recruitment/hiring (job postings, applicant tracking, candidate pipeline, interview scheduling) and client management (client profiles, communication history, assignments, reporting). We're looking for a full stack MERN developer to join us long term and own significant parts of the build alongside our team. What you'll work on: Building and maintaining REST APIs with Node.js and Express React front end — dashboards, forms, tables, filtering, role-based views MongoDB schema design for candidates, clients, roles, and activity history Authentication and role-based access control (admin, recruiter, client) Integrations for email notifications, calendar scheduling, and file uploads Writing clean, documented, maintainable code — this is a product we'll be extending for years, not a one-off Required: 3+ years hands-on MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals Experience designing database schemas from scratch, not just consuming existing ones Git workflow, code review, and clear commit hygiene Comfortable with cloud deployment and CI/CD Good written English and consistent daily communication Nice to have: Prior work on applicant tracking, CRM, HR tech, or multi-tenant SaaS Experience with real-time features using WebSockets UI work with Tailwind CSS or a modern component library Automated testing experience
