Frontend Developer for Web Application

About the Role We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to join us on a contract basis to help build our web-based data operations platform. Our product combines data migration and ETL capabilities with data governance, serving enterprise customers who depend on it for reliable, compliant data workflows. You will build and refine user-facing features and work closely with our team to deliver a polished, intuitive, high-performing product. Responsibilities  - Develop and maintain frontend features for our data operations platform  - Build responsive, performant, and accessible UI components using React and TypeScript  - Integrate frontend components with REST APIs  - Write clean, well-structured code with appropriate unit test coverage  - Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs and performance issues  - Collaborate with the team through Git-based workflows and code reviews Required Qualifications  - Proven experience as a frontend developer building production web applications  - Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript  - Expert-level HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)  - Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs  - Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or React Context)  - Familiarity with modern build tools and bundlers (e.g., Vite, Webpack)  - Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright)  - Solid working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows  - Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization Nice to Have  - Experience with ETL or data integration tools  - Background developing SaaS and enterprise applications  - UI/UX design experience or a strong eye for usability and design  - Familiarity with CSS frameworks or component libraries (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material UI)  - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and accessibility standards (WCAG)
