React + Supabase Product Engineer for AI Startup (Long-Term)

About the Project Hi! I'm the founder of HelloMom.ai, an AI-powered community where moms can ask questions, connect with other moms going through the same stage of life, and find trusted support. The product is already live, and I'm looking for an experienced engineer to become my long-term technical partner. I handle product strategy, user experience, roadmap, and growth. I'm looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of implementation, fixing bugs, improving performance, and helping us ship new features every week. We're a small, bootstrapped startup, so I'm looking for someone who enjoys building products—not just completing tickets. What You'll Be Working On Examples of work include: Fixing production bugs Improving app performance Refactoring existing components Building new product features Working with Supabase (database, authentication, RLS, Edge Functions) Improving the mobile experience Reducing technical debt Reviewing AI-generated code from Lovable and making it production-ready Our Stack React + TypeScript (Vite) Supabase Tailwind CSS Stripe GitHub Lovable (AI app builder) Experience with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, or Bolt is a big plus, but not required. Who We're Looking For Ideally you: Have shipped production React applications Have strong experience with Supabase Can debug issues independently Write clean, maintainable TypeScript Communicate well Enjoy working in fast-moving startup environments Like taking ownership instead of waiting for detailed specifications Engagement 10–20 hours/week Long-term relationship Flexible schedule Async communication Weekly planning and prioritization My goal is to find someone who becomes an extension of the team as HelloMom grows. Paid Trial We'll start with a small paid project where you'll: Fix a few bugs Build one small feature Improve one area of the app If we're both happy, I'd love to continue working together long term.
