AI Workflow Automation & Operations Engineer (n8n, Zapier & API Systems)

We are looking to hire a senior automation specialist to restructure, fix, and optimize our fragmented data pipelines and workflows. Our current setup suffers from frequent webhook drops, broken data syncing between our operational tools, and too many manual interventions. The goal is to build a scalable, production-ready backend architecture that minimizes manual operations, standardizes error handling, and runs flawlessly. We are seeking a systems thinker—someone who builds clean, modular, and maintainable infrastructure, rather than quick, fragile patches. Required Experience Advanced Workflow Automation: Expert-level mastery of n8n, Zapier, or Make.com. AI & LLM Architecture: Practical integration of OpenAI/ChatGPT APIs for data parsing, summarization, and agentic workflows. API Development & Webhooks: Deep experience handling custom REST APIs, authentication protocols, and webhooks. Data Infrastructure: Structuring and automating data pipelines across Airtable, Google Sheets, and SQL databases. Operations & Monitoring: Setting up robust error-handling logic, unified logging systems, and real-time failure alerts. System Documentation: Designing clean technical architecture diagrams and clear SOPs for long-term internal maintenance. Scope of Work Audit our existing operational workflows to pinpoint and resolve data bottlenecks and sync errors. Build highly reliable, end-to-end automated pipelines connecting our CRM, databases, and communication channels. Transition legacy, high-maintenance tasks into efficient, low-code scheduled batch processes. Deploy proactive monitoring frameworks to catch and auto-retry failed API requests before they impact operations. Deliver complete technical documentation and process mapping for the newly engineered architecture.
