Hi! I'm looking for a developer to build a prototype (MVP) for a logistics platform. The software must do three things: 1. Receive a route as input (e.g., departure and arrival) and calculate the provinces reached (using geographic APIs). 2. Automatically scrape Google Places/Web to extract the public company emails of carriers operating in those areas. 3. Insert these emails into an automatic sending system for standardized quote requests, managing responses privately (white label). I'm considering both an entirely code-based development (Python/Node.js) and a mixed no-code solution (Airtable + Make.com + external scripts). Could you send me a time and cost estimate and some of your similar work? For the MVP, I'd recommend starting with Google Maps API (Directions API and Places API), as it has the most up-to-date data on carriers and businesses along the routes. However, I'd consider your technical advice if you think OpenStreetMap / OSRM or Mapbox could save us the initial call costs for calculating the provinces included in the route. For the October launch phase, we estimate a controlled launch: approximately 20-30 searches/itineraries per day entered by tour operators, for a total of about 150-200 per week. This is a low volume, designed to test the system without overloading the infrastructure. I prefer using SendGrid or Mailgun via API because they guarantee very high deliverability (delivery to the inbox and not to spam), which is essential for our white label requests. We avoid traditional SMTP for domain reputation reasons. We're currently starting from scratch ("Greenfield"). We don't have any ready-made schemas or databases. The goal is to work with you to define the most streamlined structure: ideally, we'd use Airtable as the central database (backend) and connect it via your automations (Python/Node or Make.com) to manage travel data and carrier logs. For each itinerary, the algorithm must perform an intelligent geographic selection based on the radius of the provinces visited. We estimate extraction and delivery to approximately 15-25 selected carriers for each individual route (e.g., only those with GT buses in those specific areas). We don't want to spam people, but rather deliver high-quality, targeted deliveries.* Based on this data, can you give me a rough estimate for the MVP development?
