Frontend Developer (React/Vue) join our EdTech team

We’re looking for a solid Frontend Developer to fill a gap in our EdTech startup. Our lead frontender recently left for family reasons, and we need someone who can jump in, take over the UI layer, and keep things moving without missing a beat. You’ll work closely with our backend team (Node.js/Python) and product owner. This is about maintenance, new features, and polishing the UX. If you also have some fullstack experience (API integration, basic DB queries), that’s a big plus, because we often need help connecting the dots. Stack React (or Vue, we’re flexible, but current codebase is React) TypeScript (preferred) State management (Redux / Zustand / Pinia) REST API consumption, WebSockets Basic familiarity with Node.js / Express (to understand backend contracts) Git, CI/CD (nice to have) What you’ll do - Build and maintain responsive, user‑friendly pages for students and teachers - Integrate new features (lesson dashboards, progress tracking, interactive 3D previews) - Work with designers to implement pixel‑perfect UI components - Optimize frontend performance (load times, bundle size, caching) - Collaborate with backend devs on API design and error handling - Write clean, reusable code and participate in code reviews What we’re looking for - 3+ years of frontend experience (commercial projects) - Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and component‑based architecture - Experience with real‑time data (WebSockets or similar) - Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English - A portfolio or GitHub showing your recent work Bonus: experience with 3D/WebGL, VR/AR interfaces, or education platforms This is a fully remote, long‑term role.
