React & Node.js Codebase Audit: Identify Bottlenecks & Architecture Review

We have an existing React/Node.js web application that suffers from performance bottlenecks, frequent bugs during new deployments, and high technical debt. We are looking for an Expert engineer (or a technical lead) to conduct a deep diagnostic audit of our codebase. You will identify the root causes of our scaling issues, review our database queries/state management, and provide a prioritized, actionable roadmap for refactoring the app without taking it offline. Deliverables Architecture Assessment: A detailed report highlighting critical flaws in the current React/Node.js setup. Performance Profiling: Identification of backend bottlenecks (event-loop blocking, slow DB queries) and frontend rendering issues. Actionable Roadmap: A prioritized, step-by-step technical plan to refactor and stabilize the application. Handover Session: A 1-hour call to present the findings and answer our team's questions. Freelancer requirements Expert-level understanding of React, Node.js, and modern architecture patterns. Proven experience in codebase audits, project rescue, and legacy modernization.
