We need an experienced developer to build a reliable custom integration between Shopify and Zoho Inventory that syncs only confirmed/paid orders while ignoring failed, pending, cancelled, or back orders so they don't affect real stock levels. Project Details: Main Requirement: Automatically sync Shopify orders to Zoho Inventory only when payment is successful. Skip or log separately: failed payments, pending orders, cancelled orders, refunded orders, and back orders. Maintain accurate stock levels in Zoho Inventory (no false reservations or deductions). Create invoices/sales records in Zoho only for valid paid orders. Proper SKU/product matching between Shopify and Zoho (with handling for missing or duplicate SKUs). Key Features Needed: Webhook-based order event listener from Shopify Order status + payment status validation rules Controlled inventory adjustments and stock updates in Zoho Inventory Logging system for successful syncs, skipped orders, and errors (with admin review dashboard if possible) Basic notifications/alerts for sync failures or mismatches Retry logic for temporary API issues Clean, maintainable code with easy-to-update rules Tech Stack: Shopify API + Webhooks Zoho Inventory API (and Zoho Books if needed) Backend: PHP/Laravel or Node.js (preferred) Database: MySQL/PostgreSQL This is a fixed-price job for $50.
