Full-Stack Developer for Ongoing Healthcare Platform Maintenance & Feature Development

Yooth Wellness is looking for an experienced full-stack developer to support ongoing maintenance, improvements, and feature development for Yoothwell.com, our custom wellness and healthcare platform. This role is for someone who can work across both the admin dashboard and patient portal, understand an existing production codebase, and make careful, well-tested updates without disrupting live workflows. The platform includes clinical, operational, and patient-facing functionality, including: • patient profiles and charts • admin dashboard workflows • patient portal experience • lab tracking and results uploads • treatment plans and clinical recommendations • product/protocol recommendations • order creation and payment workflows • Stripe checkout/payment links • consent forms and document handling • file uploads and previews • messaging/notifications • scheduling-related workflows • activity/history tracking • role-based access and protected routes • responsive UI and usability improvements • production deployments and QA We are looking for someone who is comfortable using modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar. The right person should know how to use these tools responsibly: reviewing the codebase, understanding existing architecture, making scoped changes, testing carefully, and documenting what changed. Responsibilities: • Maintain and improve existing full-stack application features • Fix bugs across frontend, backend, database, auth, and payment flows • Build new features within the current architecture • Improve admin and patient workflows without disrupting business logic • Review and test changes before deployment • Deploy updates safely to production • Communicate clearly about tradeoffs, risks, and implementation details • Help turn operational needs into clean, usable product updates Ideal qualifications: • Strong full-stack development experience • Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript applications • Comfortable working in existing production codebases • Strong frontend skills and good UI/UX judgment • Backend/database experience • Experience with Stripe or payment workflows • Familiarity with auth, protected routes, dashboards, and portals • Strong QA and debugging habits • Comfortable using Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools • Able to work independently and communicate clearly • Healthcare, wellness, telehealth, or HIPAA-aware product experience is a plus This is an ongoing part-time role for a reliable developer who can become a long-term technical partner for platform fixes, product improvements, and careful feature development.
