Prestashop 1.7.7.5 to Latest Version + Full Data Migration

PROJECT OVERVIEW We need an experienced PrestaShop developer to upgrade our existing store to the latest stable PrestaShop version and migrate all data, features, and customizations from the old store to the new one. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Audit current PrestaShop version, theme, and installed modules to assess upgrade complexity and compatibility issues 2. Upgrade store to the latest stable PrestaShop version (or set up a fresh install if a clean migration is safer) 3. Migrate all products, categories, combinations/attributes, images, and stock data 4. Migrate customers, addresses, order history, and credit slips/vouchers 5. Migrate CMS pages, blog content (if any), static pages, and site content 6. Preserve SEO: URLs, redirects, meta titles/descriptions, and sitemap 7. Rebuild or update theme to be compatible with the new version (match current design as closely as possible, or implement agreed-upon updates) 8. Identify and reinstall/replace modules, ensuring compatibility with the latest version (flag any deprecated modules and propose alternatives) 9. Migrate custom code/overrides, and refactor any that are incompatible with the new core 10. Migrate shipping methods, and tax rules configuration 11. Set up multi-language/multi-store configuration if currently in use 12. Test all storefront and back-office functionality after migration 13. Perform QA on checkout flow, cart, search, filters, and customer account features 14. Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility 15. Set up staging environment for testing before going live 16. Plan and execute go-live with minimal downtime 17. Provide post-launch support for a defined period to fix any issues IMPORTANT PAGES TO DOUBLE CHECK 1. Custom Home page (HeroBanner, Welcome note, Navigation, Banners, Right Banner for Login, My Account, Inner Pages link) 2. We don't need payment module. So No Payment module (custom - payment not required. Customer checks-out the page and email goes to Admin and Customer with order details) 3. Custom Order History Page (My Account) 4. Language (Option to change multiple languages) 5. While upgrading to Prestashop 8 or 9, these custom pages needs to be reviewed. All other pages are default pages. About Us, Movies, Gallery, Catalog (products), Home REQUIREMENTS 1. Proven experience upgrading PrestaShop stores (please share examples/portfolio of similar migrations) 2. Strong knowledge of PrestaShop core architecture, database structure, and module/theme development 3. Experience with PrestaShop's official upgrade module/tools and manual migration methods 4. Familiarity with SEO preservation during platform migrations 5. Experience handling custom-coded features and overrides 6. Ability to work in a staging environment and provide a clear rollback plan 7. Clear communication and documentation of changes made 8. Available for post-launch bug fixes/support DELIVERABLES 1.
