AI Reporting & Automation Contractor — On-Call, Async

I run an AI operations consultancy that helps large organizations restructure their operations before deploying AI. I need an on-call contractor who can build reporting dashboards, automate data flows, and eventually help build lightweight internal tools — all async, no meetings. This is an execution role. I'll tell you what to build. You build it cleanly. Phase 1 — Reporting (immediate): - Build and maintain operational dashboards (Google Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar) - Pull data from spreadsheets, Airtable, or APIs and structure it into clean views - Automate recurring reports so they run without manual input - Summarize outputs into exec-ready formats Phase 2 — Automation & Tools (as we grow): - Build lightweight automation scripts (Python, Zapier, Make, or similar) - Connect data sources and tools via APIs - Potentially build simple internal tools using LLM APIs (OpenAI etc.) What makes someone right for this: - You've actually built dashboards and reports before — not just maintained them - You're comfortable with Python or low-code automation tools - You can work from a brief without needing extensive back-and-forth - You're async-first and respond within 24 hours - You're not here to redesign the approach — you execute the plan This is NOT: - A data science or ML role - A leadership or strategy role - A high-meeting setup Expected hours: 5–20 hrs/week depending on active projects Availability: Must respond within 24 hours on business days Tools: Google Looker Studio, Python, OpenAI API, Airtable, Google Sheets If you're technical, fast, and want flexible contract work with room to grow — this is for you.
