AI engineer (knowledge base, rag, chat) - long term

I am running a knowledgebase project. It captures data from the web, stores it into a rag database and then presents it in a frontend. This basic 80% is easy and relativly straightforward. The remaining 20%, where we need to tweak results is more difficult. It requires 'understanding the businesscase of the client' and 'knowing how to utilize ai optimalisation to improve the quality (without knowing all about the topic yourself). That's where I need expertise. I need somebody I can rely on. Clear process and communicates clearly. I also need dedication and daily progress. This is just one of many projects. If we can work this out, there is plenty more to come. I will share more detaills later. First explain me a similar setup that you worked on in a few scenetences. It should have a knowledge base, and retrievel and some more 'advanced challenges' that were solved. Please share those (humanly written, not by AI), just a few scentences is fine.
