WJ #1: Very Easy Integration of ClickSend with MariaDB

Költségvetés: - HOURLY / PART_TIME ⭐ 4.98 (159) United States

mariadb, mysql, python, php

This is a very tiny project intended just to test each component. An inbound SMS/MMS text will be sent from a phone to ClickSend, and their API should trigger code that adds two future events to the Queue table, saving the outside phone number and the content of the text received. (What other meta data is available?) One event should be scheduled for ten seconds from now, and the other for one minute from now. A separate task should run every ten seconds, which checks the Queue for any outstanding work scheduled for now (or earlier). Use the ClickSend API to transmit an outbound SMS/MMS text to the original outside phone number, echoing the content of the original text, maybe preceded with a header, "Echo 1/2: " or "Echo 2/2: ". All code and configuration, except for service credentials, should be maintained in my private GitHub repository. I have a Google Cloud account to host this project, but I'd like your input as to the most appropriate hosting service (and language, etc.) for this, ideally staying within the Google ecosystem. While this particular project could probably be built with IFTTT or Make, it's a precursor checking the feasibility for an upcoming, more complex project, so I really do want actual software written. Yes, it's only going to be a few lines of code by the time you're done. It would be incredibly helpful if you have a smartphone which can send and receive actual SMS/MMS texts to/from the US. Please note that I am not against using AI, but frankly, this task is so trivial that if you find yourself needing AI to write it, we're really not a match for each other. Please be honest with yourself and with me before bidding.
