This project involves optimizing a property rental platform. The frontend interface and layout were built using the AI application builder Lovable.dev. While the user interface design, visual layout, and core component logic are fully complete, the application is suffering from performance bottlenecks under real-world connection speeds. Specifically, high-resolution property imagery experiences network lag, stalls out, or completely freezes on both mobile pipelines and standard broadband setups.
We require a full-stack React developer who understands how to clean, audit, and refactor AI-generated codebases to address these infrastructure issues without breaking the visual interface or user flows already established by Lovable.
Technical Stack Details:
Frontend Framework: React.js, TypeScript, Vite build tool.
Styling Components: Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui framework.
Backend & Storage Ecosystem: Supabase (Database & Storage).
Deployment Pipeline: GitHub repository tracking, hosted natively on Vercel.
Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities:
Media Storage Migration: Transition existing unoptimized property image assets out of the local GitHub /public directory and securely offload them onto Supabase Storage buckets.
Image Pipeline Optimization: Configure Supabase's image transformation parameters to dynamically scale asset resolution to match user viewports and automatically deliver compressed next-gen formats (such as .webp).
Routing and Asset Path Audit: Identify and eliminate broken or inconsistent relative paths generated by Lovable (e.g., asset mappings that fail when navigating from the home directory into sub-routes).
Technical Debt Cleanup: Audit the package.json dependencies and configuration matrices. Safely strip away redundant or unused AI-generated boilerplates, reducing final javascript bundle footprints to enhance Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) performance.
Vercel Deployment Integrity: Verify complete execution workflows, review Vercel analytics logs, and ensure all changes sync seamlessly back into GitHub without interrupting the existing Lovable prompt-sync loop.
Handoff Documentation: Provide a brief written or recorded walkthrough showing how to manage property additions/deletions natively through the optimized Supabase setup moving forward.
Milestone 1 (50% Payment): Core infrastructure setup, migration of high-resolution property data into Supabase storage buckets, and implementation of dynamic component path fixes across all sub-pages.
Milestone 2 (50% Payment): Final codebase optimization, deletion of stale dependencies, and verifiable delivery across mobile and desktop browsers verified through Google PageSpeed Insights / Vercel Speed Logs.
