Senior AI/Full-Stack Engineer for WhatsApp Assistant

AI Engineer – Executive WhatsApp Personal Assistant We are looking for an experienced AI/Full-Stack Engineer to build a highly intelligent WhatsApp Personal Assistant for a C-level executive. The goal is not to build a customer support chatbot, but an AI assistant that helps manage a private WhatsApp account by organizing, prioritizing and drafting responses while maintaining strict privacy and security. Core Features * Connect to a private WhatsApp account (via a technically feasible solution) * Read incoming messages in real time * Categorize chats by priority (Urgent, Needs Reply, Informational, Can Wait) * Summarize conversations and voice notes * Draft context-aware replies matching the executive’s communication style * Extract tasks, reminders, meetings and follow-ups * Daily inbox summaries and action lists * Human approval before sending messages (initial version) * Easy-to-use dashboard for reviewing conversations and approving replies Technical Requirements * Strong experience with AI agents and LLM integration (OpenAI or similar) * Experience with WhatsApp integrations (official or alternative approaches) * Backend development (Node.js or Python) * Database design (PostgreSQL/Supabase or similar) * Experience with speech-to-text for voice messages * Clean, scalable and secure architecture * Strong focus on privacy and data security Nice to Have * Experience building executive assistants or productivity agents * Memory/context management for long conversations * Local-first architecture where possible * Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) * Modern web dashboard (React/Next.js) Project Scope This is a long-term project. Phase 1 focuses on creating a reliable MVP with: * Message classification * Conversation summaries * AI-generated reply drafts * Task extraction * Human approval workflow Future phases may include calendar integration, email integration, multi-platform messaging, and carefully controlled automation.
