Senior Shopify Developer (Full-Time)

*Salary:* AUD $1,200 per month *Employment Type:* Full-Time (Remote) ## About the Role We are looking for an exceptional Shopify Developer to join our growing eCommerce team. This is *not* a role for someone who simply follows instructions. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, works efficiently, and delivers high-quality work without constant supervision. Our stores are built around performance, customer experience, and conversion. Every change you make should improve the website, increase speed, create a better user experience, or help drive more sales. If you enjoy building world-class Shopify stores, solving technical challenges, and continuously improving websites, we'd love to hear from you. ## Responsibilities * Build, customise, and maintain Shopify themes. * Develop new sections, templates, landing pages, and product pages. * Improve website speed and overall performance. * Optimise Core Web Vitals and loading times. * Fix bugs quickly and permanently. * Develop custom features using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. * Implement designs from Figma with pixel-perfect accuracy. * Integrate third-party apps and APIs when required. * Improve checkout functionality wherever Shopify allows. * Ensure all pages are fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. * Maintain clean, scalable, and well-structured code. * Troubleshoot technical issues independently. * Recommend improvements that increase conversion rates and enhance the customer experience. * Test thoroughly before deploying any changes to the live store. * Maintain organised development workflows and documentation. * Work closely with our CRO, marketing and operations teams. ## Requirements * Minimum 3 years of Shopify development experience. * Strong expertise with Shopify 2.0. * Advanced knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. * Experience working with Shopify APIs and app integrations. * Experience using Git and version control. * Strong understanding of website speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals. * Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify pages. * Good understanding of SEO best practices. * Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. * Strong written English communication. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ## What We Expect We value productivity above everything.
