WordPress Website Support & Maintenance — Monthly Retainer (Long-Term)

We are Muzn IT, a Saudi Arabia-based IT company managing WordPress websites for our clients. We are looking for a reliable, experienced WordPress developer to join us as a long-term maintenance partner on a fixed monthly retainer. This is not a one-time project. We are building a dedicated team of trusted developers for ongoing work across multiple client websites. If you deliver quality work, there is strong potential to grow with us. What You Will Be Doing Every Month: Technical Site Stability Monitoring pages, forms, navigation, images, links, and key user journeys Ensuring nothing is broken or inaccessible across the site WordPress Management Updating WordPress core, active themes, and plugins after compatibility checks Rollback readiness before every update — no exceptions Content Support Updating text, images, PDFs, and contact info on existing pages Approved changes only — submitted and confirmed before work begins Minor Interface Improvements Layout fixes, alignment corrections, and light refinements on existing pages No full redesigns — clean, precise, and practical improvements only Performance & Speed Reviewing caching, image sizes, and front-end performance Improving page load speed and resolving common performance issues Security & Protection Basic hardening, login protection review Monitoring for suspicious changes or unauthorized modifications Backup & Restore Daily automated backups — files and database Manual backup mandatory before every change Monthly test-restore to confirm backups are actually restorable Quality Assurance (QA) Testing all contact forms, CTAs, and mobile compatibility Checking key navigation links and sensitive page elements Monthly Reporting Clean monthly report: work completed, open items, backup log, hours used, and recommendations Contract Terms: $150 USD/month per website — fixed monthly milestone 12-month contract per website ($1,800 total value per site) 45 combined hours/month (minor + major work) Unused hours carry forward to the next month — max 20 hours from last month Payment via Upwork milestones — monthly, on time Urgent support hours: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM KSA time Urgent fixes resolved within 2 hours Major issues resolved within 2 working days Meeting compensation: $15 for the first client meeting, and $10 for subsequent meetings. What We Require: Strong WordPress experience (core, themes, plugins, PHP, HTML/CSS) Solid understanding of website security, backup tools, and performance optimization Experience with staging environments — no direct live-site edits without testing Organized, responsive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Must sign a Service Agreement and NDA before receiving any access No direct contact with our clients — all communication goes through Muzn IT Fluent English communication (written) Project Type: Ongoing / Long-Term Contract: Fixed-price monthly milestone Experience level: Intermediate to Expert Hours needed: Up to 45 hrs/month per site
