Full-Time Website Developer Needed

We are building Optimal Peptides, a premium peptide research company focused on quality, compliance, and customer experience. We are looking for a long-term team member who can take ownership of our website and become an integral part of our operations. This is not a one-time development project. We need someone who can manage the website on a daily basis, troubleshoot issues, implement new features, coordinate with third-party vendors, monitor performance, maintain security, and ensure the website operates smoothly at all times. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of solving problems independently. We value reliability and communication just as much as technical ability. Responsibilities may include: • Website maintenance and updates • WooCommerce and WordPress management • Product uploads and catalog management • Checkout and payment gateway troubleshooting • Payment processor integrations and ongoing maintenance • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and modify website code when issues arise • API integrations and custom development projects • Debugging website errors, plugin conflicts, and server-side issues • Customer account and membership functionality • Website speed and performance optimization • Security monitoring and backups • Landing page creation and optimization • Analytics and reporting • Coordination with marketing, customer service, and operations teams • Ongoing development of new website features and functionality as the company grows Payment & Technical Requirements: • Strong understanding of payment gateways and payment processing systems • Experience troubleshooting checkout issues, declined transactions, webhook failures, API errors, and payment integrations • Ability to read, analyze, debug, and modify PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and database code • Ability to investigate and resolve technical issues that impact customer experience or sales • Experience working with third-party APIs, CRMs, fulfillment systems, analytics platforms, and customer support software • Ability to independently diagnose complex website and payment-related issues Working Hours: • Monday-Friday • 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Mountain Time (MST) Compensation: • Approximately $500 per week for a full-time position Emergency Availability: While we respect personal time, we need someone who can be reached for critical website issues outside of normal business hours when necessary. Examples include website outages, checkout failures, payment processing interruptions, server downtime, security incidents, broken integrations, or any issue that prevents customers from placing orders. We are looking for a long-term partner who wants to grow with the company as the business scales.
