Do not bid if you are not able to run this on a Mac for testing purposes.
Needed:
1. An AppleScript file (`imessage_capable.scpt`) This script runs on your Mac.
Its only job is to ask the Messages app: “Does this person have iMessage?” and return the result.
If yes → returns true
If no → returns false
The script should be able to handle multiple phone numbers at once.
A simple command-line tool that takes a phone number as an argument and returns whether the person has iMessage or not. The tool should be able to handle multiple phone numbers at once. Then exports the results into a csv file indicating.
2. A Python wrapper (`imessage_check.py`)
This also runs a Mac.
It simply calls the AppleScript and gives you a clean Python boolean:
True → iMessage capable
False → SMS only
Code is attached - it needs to be tweaked and returned as an app for a MacBook Air.
