Senior Full Stack Laravel & React Developer (Bug Fixes, Maintenance & Feature Development)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Laravel & React Developer to join our team on a long-term basis. Our application is already in production and used by active customers. We need a developer who can quickly understand an existing codebase, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, improve performance, and implement new features without introducing regressions. This is not a greenfield project. You'll be working on an established Laravel + React application, collaborating with our product team to maintain and continuously improve the platform. ## Responsibilities * Investigate and resolve bugs across the Laravel backend and React frontend. * Understand and work within an existing codebase. * Implement new features while maintaining code quality. * Optimize slow database queries and backend performance. * Debug API integration issues. * Fix UI/UX inconsistencies and frontend bugs. * Improve application security and reliability. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. * Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. * Work closely with the team using Git and pull requests. * Deploy fixes to staging and production environments when needed. ## Required Skills * 5+ years of experience with Laravel. * Strong experience with React.js. * Solid knowledge of PHP 8+. * Experience with MySQL and database optimization. * REST API development and integration. * Authentication and authorization (JWT, Sanctum, Passport). * Git and Git workflows. * JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS. * Experience debugging production issues. * Ability to understand legacy code and refactor safely. ## Nice to Have * AWS experience. * Docker. * Redis. * Queue workers. * WebSockets. * CI/CD pipelines. * PHPUnit or Pest testing. * Experience with SaaS applications. ## What We're Looking For * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently. * Excellent communication. * Attention to detail. * Ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision. * Someone who takes ownership of tasks and proactively suggests improvements.
