AI Automation Engineer (Long-Term)

I’m looking for an experienced software engineer to help build custom AI-powered automations for my business. This is not a one-time project. My goal is to build a collection of reliable AI systems that automate the day-to-day administrative work involved in running my company. If we’re a good fit, I’d like this to become a long-term working relationship with many future projects. Some examples of the types of automations we’d build include: * Managing multiple email inboxes * Creating and updating estimates and invoices * Working with QuickBooks and other business software * Interacting with our custom CRM * Browser automation for repetitive tasks * Processing PDFs, spreadsheets, and documents * Research and data collection * Building specialized AI assistants that each perform a specific business function Eventually, I’d like these individual automations to work together as part of a larger system, with a central AI assistant that can coordinate tasks and delegate work to the appropriate automation. I’m not committed to any particular technology stack. Whether the best solution involves Python, OpenAI, Claude, browser automation, automation platforms, cloud infrastructure, local machines, or a combination of technologies, I’m open to your recommendations. I’m looking for someone who can help design the right architecture rather than simply build what I tell them. You should be comfortable writing clean, maintainable code, integrating APIs, automating business processes, and designing software that is easy to expand and maintain over time. I’m looking for someone who thinks like an engineer, can explain their reasoning clearly, and can build systems that will grow with the business.
