Full Stack Developer (React + Node.js) – Build Property Management SaaS MVP

Looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to build an MVP for a property management platform targeting independent landlords and letting agents across the UK. Core requirements: Property listing management with status tracking, tenant assignment and document upload. Tenant portal with magic link login so tenants do not need to create a full account. Maintenance request workflow with vendor assignment, status updates and email notifications. Calendar view showing key dates — tenancy start, end, inspections, rent due — with iCal export so landlords can sync to their existing calendar. CSV and website import to pull in existing property and tenant data without manual entry. Stripe subscription billing with two plan tiers and usage based feature gating. Tech stack preferred: React.js on the frontend, Node.js backend with REST API, PostgreSQL for data, AWS for deployment. Open to suggestions on architecture if you have built something similar before. What we are looking for: Someone who has built SaaS products before and understands MVP thinking — ship what matters first, keep it clean, make it extensible. We do not need every feature perfect on day one. We need the core working reliably so we can get it in front of real users quickly. Good communication is important. We are a small team and need someone who asks the right questions upfront rather than disappearing and delivering something unexpected.
