Productionizing Social Snitch (redflagger.app): migrating the existing Replit build into a fully functional, performant, secure, and scalable Next.js application hosted on Vercel with a Supabase back-end. SCOPE OF WORK Database schema: conversations, messaging, profiles, cached followers/following lists, and payment records/logs Stripe payment processing Authentication setup and security hardening UI rebuilt as server components (faster loads, more secure data access, better SEO) API routes optimized for the Vercel edge network Technical SEO and GEO metadata Admin dashboard to manage content and settings as the app grows Automated test suite (Playwright + Jest) DELIVERABLE A production-ready Next.js site — a fleshed-out, performant, secure, and scalable version and functional copy of the current Replit build. RATE & HOURS Hourly at $55/hr, tracked through Upwork's Desktop App and Work Diary Estimate is ~65 hours ($3,575), based on the build as of July 6, 2026. A weekly hour limit is set in the Upwork contract; freelancer won't bill beyond the agreed limit without confirming the added time first. ADDITIONAL TIME & CHANGES Need more time, want to change requirements, or something in the final build wasn't covered above? Send a note via Upwork messages (or Slack/email). Freelancer to communicate the added time and any cost before starting that work. REVISIONS Free for 7 days after delivery. After that window, revisions are billed hourly (time and cost communicated up front). Revisions that require new features are billed hourly even within the 7-day window (also communicated first). BILLING (THROUGH UPWORK) All time is logged and billed through Upwork on its weekly hourly cycle. Each week's hours and activity are visible to you in the Work Diary, with a memo of what was worked on. Keeping everything on Upwork means we're both covered by Upwork's Hourly Payment Protection for logged hours. DISPUTES & RESOLUTION (UPWORK) Any concern about billed hours is handled through Upwork's built-in process: I can review and dispute a week's hours within Upwork's review window, and Upwork reviews the Work Diary to resolve it. For anything beyond hours, we resolve it directly and in good faith first; if needed, we rely on Upwork's resolution process under Upwork's Terms of Service, rather than outside courts. This keeps both of us protected under Upwork's terms THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & COSTS Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), and domain registration are set up under accounts I own; related subscription, usage, and transaction fees are the client's responsibility and aren't included in freelancer's rate. OWNERSHIP Full ownership of the custom code transfers to you on payment, per Upwork's Terms of Service I may showcase non-confidential aspects of the finished work in freelancer's portfolio.
