Gallery Plugin to Static HTML

I’m moving an existing WordPress site away from the CMS and need the gallery-display plugin recreated in plain HTML and CSS. The goal is to replicate the current look and behaviour of the gallery while giving me clean, lightweight code I can drop into a static site...
