Front-End Web Developer – Convert Existing Figma Design into Responsive Website

Project Overview We already have the full UI/UX designs completed in Figma for a large martial arts federation and tournament management platform. We are not looking for a designer. We are not looking for backend development at this stage. We need an experienced front-end developer to convert the existing Figma designs into a responsive website shell that we can later connect to different systems and functionality. The platform includes many sections, including: Tournament management Fighter profiles Rankings Course creation Licensing Promoter management Officials Academies Events Dashboards Administration At this stage, these sections only need to work visually. The website should include the full navigation, layouts, pages, forms, tables, dashboards, buttons, menus, pop-ups and user journeys shown in the Figma designs. Placeholder content and dummy data can be used. No database, payment system, course engine, tournament logic or backend functionality is required for this milestone. Main Objective Create a professional, responsive front-end website shell that: Matches the existing Figma designs Contains all designed pages Includes working navigation between pages Uses reusable components Works on desktop, tablet and mobile Can later be connected to APIs, databases and separate functional modules Is clean and easy for future developers to extend Responsibilities Convert the existing Figma designs into front-end code Reproduce the designs accurately Build reusable layouts and components Implement menus, sidebars, tabs, buttons and navigation Add forms using placeholder functionality Add tables, cards, dashboards and sample data Build responsive desktop, tablet and mobile layouts Organise the code professionally Prepare the project for future backend integration Deliver all source files Preferred Technology We are open to recommendations, but our preference is: React Next.js TypeScript Tailwind CSS A strong developer may recommend another suitable front-end stack, but it must be scalable and easy to extend. We are not looking for a WordPress theme made from plugins unless you can clearly demonstrate that it will support the full application-style interface without limiting future development. You are not being asked to build: Tournament calculations Live scoring logic Rankings calculations Databases User authentication Course functionality Payment systems APIs Backend administration These will be added in later milestones.
