Browser Automation & Web Data Collection Developer (Python/Playwright)

We are looking for an experienced automation developer to build and maintain browser-based workflows for web monitoring, inventory tracking, and data collection. The ideal candidate should have experience with: Python development Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium Browser automation and workflow automation Web scraping and structured data extraction API integrations Cloud deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, VPS, etc.) Logging, monitoring, and alerting systems Proxy management and session handling Scalable, reliable automation architecture Project Scope We need a system that can: Monitor specific web pages for changes Collect and organize publicly available data Extract product and inventory information Generate alerts when predefined conditions are met Operate reliably across multiple monitored websites Maintain detailed logs and reporting Requirements Strong Python experience Prior work with Playwright or Puppeteer Experience building long-running automation systems Familiarity with APIs and structured data pipelines Ability to document setup and deployment Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Nice to Have Docker experience PostgreSQL/MySQL experience Cloud infrastructure experience Experience optimizing automation performance When Applying, Please Include Relevant automation projects you've built Technologies used Example architecture diagrams or screenshots (if available) Estimated timeline Hourly rate or fixed-price proposal This is an ongoing opportunity for the right developer, with additional automation and monitoring projects expected in the future.
