About Us
We are a US-based e-commerce company managing 16 premium Italian and Mediterranean gourmet food brands across Amazon and other marketplaces, with a catalog of 600+ ASINs. Our operation runs across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and Faire, with fulfillment through both FBA and our own warehouse/FBM. Our team is distributed globally.
We are looking for an AI Automation Specialist who can help us transform manual marketplace operations into automated workflows, dashboards, alerts, AI-assisted processes, and scalable internal systems.
The Role
We are hiring a hands-on AI Automation Specialist to analyze our current Amazon and marketplace operations and build automations that reduce or replace repetitive manual work.
This is not a PPC role and not a basic “prompt engineer” role. We need someone who understands e-commerce operations, Amazon Seller Central workflows, APIs, data feeds, flat files, reporting, and AI tools well enough to design and build practical automations.
The main objective of this role is to take the work currently handled by an Amazon Seller Central operations specialist and convert as much of it as possible into reliable, repeatable, monitored automation systems.
You will be responsible for building tools that monitor account health, listing issues, catalog errors, inventory problems, Buy Box issues, FBA discrepancies, listing optimization opportunities, reporting workflows, and other marketplace operations across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Faire, StoreAutomator, SellerBoard, Helium 10/Data Dive, and related platforms.
Mission of the Role
Your mission is to create an automation layer across our marketplace operation so that the company can:
Reduce manual Seller Central work
Detect problems automatically before they become costly
Generate alerts, reports, and recommended actions
Automate repetitive catalog, listing, inventory, and reporting tasks
Build AI-assisted workflows for decision-making and execution
Create scalable systems that allow management to oversee operations without needing a full-time manual operator for every task

Stranded inventory
Buy Box issues
Pricing alerts
Listing errors
Catalog feed problems
Inventory availability

The goal is to create alerts, dashboards, and action queues so management can see what requires attention without manually checking Seller Central every day.
Listing Health & Catalog Integrity Automation
Create tools to identify and flag:
Suppressed ASINs
Inactive listings
Duplicate ASINs
Broken variations
Incorrect parent-child relationships
Missing or incorrect images
Missing bullets, titles, descriptions, backend keywords, or A+ content
Catalog inconsistencies across Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Faire, and StoreAutomator
Backend search term gaps
Indexing problems
Product detail page issues
You should be able to build workflows that compare listing data across channels and identify mismatches, missing content, or catalog risks.
Amazon Flat File & Bulk Upload Automation
Develop systems to support or automate:
Flat file generation
Variation creation
Parent-child relationship fixes
Theme corrections
Bulk listing updates
Catalog upload preparation
Error detection and interpretation
Bulk upload troubleshooting
Variation merge/separation workflows
The ideal candidate should understand Amazon flat files well enough to build templates, validators, and AI-assisted troubleshooting systems.
AI-Assisted Seller Central Support Workflows
Build AI-assisted processes to:
Draft Seller Central support cases
Summarize case history
Track open cases
Identify stalled cases
Recommend follow-up language
Organize documentation and screenshots
Maintain a searchable case log
Escalate unresolved issues
The goal is to make support case management faster, more consistent, and less dependent on manual tracking.
Amazon Transparency Program Automation
Build workflows to help manage:
Transparency code tracking
Eligible product enrollment
Label coordination
Unit-level compliance
Transparency-related listing or fulfillment issues
Internal tracking reports
The system should reduce manual checking and help ensure products enrolled in Transparency are handled correctly.

Keyword gap detection
Backend search term recommendations
Indexing checks

Shopify
Faire
StoreAutomator
Internal spreadsheets/databases

What This Role Is Not
This is not a PPC management role.
This is not a basic virtual assistant role.
This is not a role for someone who only knows how to manually use ChatGPT.
This is not a pure software engineering role with no marketplace understanding.
This is not a strategy-only role; we need someone who can actually build, test, and maintain automations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is part automation engineer, part AI workflow builder, part Amazon operations analyst, and part systems thinker.
You should be able to look at a repetitive manual process and ask:
Can this be automated?
What data source is needed?
Can an API provide the data?
Can AI classify, summarize, or recommend the next action?
What should be fully automated versus human-reviewed?
How do we prevent errors?
How do we alert the team when something breaks?
How do we make this process scalable?
You should be comfortable working independently and turning messy operational workflows into clean, repeatable systems.
Success Metrics
Success in this role will be measured by:
Reduction in manual Seller Central work
Number of recurring workflows automated
Accuracy and reliability of automations
Speed of issue detection for suppressed listings, Buy Box issues, stranded inventory, and catalog problems
