Full-Time AI Systems, Automation, and Internal Tools Builder

Role Description We are a growing real estate brokerage looking for a full-time remote contractor to help us build, improve, and eventually automate as much of our company as possible. This role is for someone who is highly skilled with AI, automation, prompt engineering, workflow design, internal tools, websites, and software creation. Coding ability is a major plus, but it is not required if you have expert-level knowledge of AI tools, prompt engineering, prompt looping, automations, APIs, and no-code or low-code development. We are looking for someone who can take a business problem and turn it into a working system. Sometimes that means creating something from scratch. Sometimes it means improving something we already have. Sometimes it means connecting different platforms, building a custom GPT, creating an automation, designing an internal tool, building a website, or helping us think through the best technology stack for a new idea. Projects may include internal tools, SaaS-style software, websites, AI agents, custom GPTs, automations, dashboards, lead systems, operational tools, reporting systems, documentation systems, and process improvements. You should be very familiar with tools and concepts like APIs, Claude, Claude Projects, Claude Skills, Artifacts, connectors, token usage optimization, ChatGPT, custom GPTs, automations, Zapier, n8n, Lovable, GitHub, prompt engineering, prompt looping, AI agents, and general AI workflow design. Experience with coding, OpenClaw, Mac mini automation, local AI workflows, and advanced technical setups is a plus. Real estate experience is not required, but it is a bonus. This is a long-term, full-time remote contractor role through Upwork. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become a key person in how our company uses technology and AI. What You Will Do Build internal tools, websites, AI systems, automations, workflows, dashboards, and custom software. Create and improve custom GPTs, Claude workflows, AI agents, automations, and internal operating systems. Use APIs, webhooks, Zapier, n8n, GitHub, Lovable, and other tools to connect systems and reduce manual work. Help us turn business problems into clear technical solutions. Build new systems from scratch and improve current systems already in place. Create SaaS-style tools, internal applications, landing pages, websites, dashboards, and operational workflows. Use AI tools strategically, including ChatGPT, Claude, custom GPTs, Claude Projects, Skills, Artifacts, connectors, and automations. Maximize AI outputs through strong prompt engineering, prompt looping, context management, and token usage strategy. Help us automate workflows across the company, including lead management, agent support, operations, reporting, recruiting, marketing, transaction workflows, and internal communication. Work with sensitive brokerage data, including leads, agent information, commissions, transaction details, CRM data, and client-related information. Document everything you build as you go. We want clear guides, explanations, SOPs, and training materials so future team members or assistants can understand and help maintain the systems. Troubleshoot problems, test workflows carefully, and improve systems over time. Communicate clearly about what you are working on, what is complete, what is stuck, and what you need from us. When technology projects are slower, help with other company projects while still looking for ways to improve efficiency, automate processes, and use AI wherever possible. What We Are Looking For Expert-level understanding of AI tools, prompt engineering, prompt looping, automations, and workflow design. Strong familiarity with ChatGPT, custom GPTs, Claude, Claude Projects, Claude Skills, Artifacts, connectors, and AI agents. Experience with APIs, webhooks, Zapier, n8n, GitHub, Lovable, and similar tools. Coding ability is a major plus, but not required if you are excellent with AI systems, automations, no-code tools, prompt engineering, and technical problem-solving. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to work full-time remotely and communicate through Google Chat, text, or another agreed-upon messaging system. Ability to work independently and with other team members. Strong problem-solving mindset. We do not want someone who gets stuck and gives up. Real estate experience. Experience with brokerage operations, CRMs, lead systems, transaction workflows, or recruiting systems. Experience with Follow Up Boss, Dotloop, BoldTrail, Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, or similar business tools. Experience with OpenClaw, Mac mini automation, local AI workflows, or advanced AI tool setups. Experience building SaaS products, internal tools, dashboards, or AI-powered business systems. Experience creating documentation, SOPs, training guides, or internal knowledge bases. Compensation $7 to $10 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. This is a full-time, long-term remote contractor role through Upwork.
