Python Developer Needed to Build Custom Ichimoku Stock Scanner

I'm looking for an experienced Python developer with strong knowledge of technical analysis and financial market data. This is not a standard moving average scanner. I have developed a specific Ichimoku pattern that I visually recognize on daily charts, and I need software that can automatically search thousands of US stocks each day and identify charts with similar geometry. The goal is to reduce thousands of charts down to a shortlist of high-probability candidates for manual review. What the software should do: Download daily price data for all US-listed stocks. Calculate full Ichimoku Cloud values: Tenkan-sen Kijun-sen Senkou Span A Senkou Span B Chikou Span Evaluate custom geometric relationships between Tenkan, Kijun, and price. Rank stocks by similarity to my pattern. Export results with chart images. Pattern Characteristics The scanner should identify charts where: The Kijun-sen is relatively flat. Price is well below the Kijun. The Tenkan-sen is significantly below the Kijun. etc. (will give more details when selected) The scanner should identify the entire progression toward that pattern. Desired Features Adjustable parameters from a settings screen. Ability to change: Minimum Tenkan/Kijun distance. Flatness threshold for Kijun. Bowl sensitivity. Minimum price distance from Kijun. Lookback period. Daily scan of all US stocks. Ranked results. Save chart screenshots. Export results to CSV. Simple desktop interface. Nice to Have Interactive chart viewer. Ability to click a stock and immediately open its chart. Ability to save "favorite" setups. Ability to compare today's scan to previous days. Technical Preferences Python Pandas NumPy yfinance or Polygon.io (open to recommendations) Plotly or Matplotlib for chart generation SQLite database for storing historical scans Ideal Candidate Experience building stock scanners. Familiarity with Ichimoku Cloud calculations. Experience with quantitative trading tools. Experience with financial APIs. Ability to communicate clearly and make recommendations for improving the design. Deliverables Fully documented Python project. Source code. Installation instructions. Instead of hard-coding one setup, the software would let you define multiple reusable scans.
