Senior AI Engineer

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer who has gone deep on AI-assisted development. We are looking for someone who has rebuilt their entire workflow around AI tooling and shipped real products with it. You know the strengths, quirks, and weaknesses of every major tool in the space, and you can move confidently between them depending on the task. What You'll Do: - Build and ship production features and full applications using AI-assisted workflows end to end - from spec to deploy - Design, build, and maintain AI agents that perform real-world tasks reliably - Establish best practices for AI-assisted development across the team: prompting patterns, context management, code review of AI-generated output, and tool selection - Evaluate new models and tools as they emerge, and make pragmatic calls on what's worth adopting - Mentor other engineers on integrating AI tooling into their daily work What We're Looking For - Deep, hands-on expertise with the modern AI development stack: Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenRouter, n8n, Zapier and similar tools. You need to know when to reach for each one and why - A track record of shipping real features and complete apps built with heavy AI assistance, and you can walk us through how you did it - Experience building agents that do real work: multi-step task automation, tool use, browsing, file manipulation, API orchestration - Strong fundamentals - you can read, debug, and optimize AI-generated code, and you know when the model is wrong - Familiarity with the broader ecosystem: model selection and routing, prompt engineering, context windows, MCP, evals, and cost/latency tradeoffs Nice to Have - Open-source contributions, demos, or writing about AI-assisted development - Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration (e.g., LangGraph, custom agent loops) - Experience fine-tuning, building evals, or working directly with LLM APIs in production
