Full Stack AI Engineer (RAG, FastAPI, OpenAI, Next.js)

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack AI Engineer to enhance an existing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) application built with Next.js, FastAPI, and OpenAI. Responsibilities: Review and improve the current RAG implementation Troubleshoot and resolve retrieval and response quality issues Optimize document chunking, embeddings, and retrieval workflows Improve prompt engineering and context management Update backend APIs and AI-related functionality Make frontend adjustments where needed Ensure the solution is reliable, maintainable, and production-ready Required Skills: Strong experience with Next.js and React Strong experience with Python and FastAPI Experience integrating OpenAI APIs Deep understanding of RAG architectures Experience with vector databases and semantic search Ability to debug and optimize AI application performance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Qdrant, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or similar vector databases Familiarity with reranking, hybrid search, and retrieval optimization Experience building production AI applications To Apply, Please Include: Relevant RAG or AI application projects Your experience with FastAPI, OpenAI, and Next.js A brief explanation of how you would improve retrieval accuracy and response quality in a RAG system Looking for a developer who can quickly understand an existing codebase and deliver high-quality improvements.
