Mechanical/ Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Perform design and engineering analysis of subsea connector systems, clamp connectors, compact flanges, valves, hub-based connection systems, and metal-to-metal sealing products. Conduct linear and nonlinear static and dynamic analyses using FEA tools. Perform contact and stress analysis, bolt calculations, leakage assessment, plastic assessment, and HISC-related evaluations. Prepare engineering calculations, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical documentation. Support project engineering activities, technical leadership, supplier coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Mentor and support junior engineers when required. Required Skills & Experience: Strong knowledge of FEA software: ANSYS APDL ANSYS Workbench Abaqus SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor Experience with engineering standards: ASME Section VIII DNV RP F112 DNV standards and recommended practices API, ISO, Eurocode, and Norsk standards Experience in subsea equipment design and mechanical integrity assessment. Proficiency in engineering calculation tools such as: MathCAD Excel Python or similar programming tools Ability to prepare clear engineering reports and technical documentation.
