Hi, I am looking to hire a developer or software development company to design and build a fully functional Travel Management and Online Booking Platform for Gracious Travel & Tours. This is not just a basic website. I want a complete digital travel booking system where customers can browse, select, book, pay, and receive confirmations online with minimal manual intervention from our team. The platform should be designed for the South African travel market initially, with room to expand later. The system should allow customers to book services such as: * Flights * Hotels and accommodation * Car hire * Airport transfers * Holiday packages * Tours and activities * Travel insurance * Visa assistance services * Seasonal specials and promotional packages We will provide and manage our own travel inventory, packages, suppliers, hotels, cars, transfers, and travel deals through an admin portal. The system does not need to build flight or hotel inventory from scratch, but it should allow our team to upload, edit, price, and manage travel products and packages. For example, we should be able to create packages such as “Valentine’s Maldives Package” or “Cape Town Weekend Special,” including flights, accommodation, transfers, activities, images, pricing, dates, availability, and terms. The customer-facing platform should include: * A modern, professional, mobile-friendly website * Search and booking functionality * Online payments/payment gateway integration * Customer accounts and booking history * Automated booking confirmations * Invoices and receipts * Email and WhatsApp click-through integration * Contact forms * Package pages * Hotel, flight, car hire, transfer, and tour listings * Ability for customers to add multiple services into one booking or itinerary The admin portal should allow us to: * Add, edit, and remove travel products * Manage hotels, flights, cars, transfers, packages, and tours * Set pricing, availability, dates, and promotions * Upload images and descriptions * View and manage bookings * Manage customers * Generate reports * Manage payments and refunds * Update website content * Create seasonal specials and holiday deals I would also like the system to have smart recommendation features. For example, if a customer books a hotel in Cape Town, the platform should suggest car hire, airport transfers, tours, travel insurance, and other relevant add-ons. The goal is to create a professional, scalable travel commerce platform where customers can complete the full booking journey online without needing to constantly interact with a consultant. In future, I would also like the option to add an AI travel assistant, mobile app, loyalty programme, CRM features, and possible integration with travel reservation systems or supplier APIs.
