Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead — Restructuring Intelligence Platform

LWe are a Cayman Islands restructuring and insolvency firm seeking a senior data engineer or technical lead to build an intelligence platform that identifies potential cross-border restructuring opportunities before they become widely known. The initial focus is US companies at risk of Chapter 11 that have a meaningful Cayman connection. The platform should combine public and licensed data to: * identify financial-distress signals; * map corporate groups and Cayman entities; * distinguish material entities from dormant subsidiaries; * rank opportunities using an explainable score; * generate alerts and short intelligence briefs; and * track outcomes and improve over time. Potential data sources include SEC EDGAR, XBRL, US court data, Cayman Gazette notices, CIMA, GLEIF, company announcements and news. We expect to begin with a paid discovery and proof-of-concept phase covering a limited company universe. ## Required experience * Python and SQL * Data engineering and API integrations * Entity resolution and corporate-group mapping * Financial or legal document analysis * NLP and document extraction * Cloud deployment * Building maintainable production systems Experience with SEC filings, credit risk, court data, restructuring, knowledge graphs or legal technology is highly desirable. ## Initial deliverables * Data-source and licensing assessment * Proposed architecture and data model * Explainable scoring methodology * Working proof of concept * MVP roadmap and cost estimate ## To apply Begin your proposal with: **Cayman Intelligence Platform** Then briefly provide: 1.
