Senior QA Automation Engineer (Python, Robot Framework, Azure DevOps CI/CD)

Senior QA Automation Engineer (Python, Robot Framework, Azure DevOps) We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Python, Robot Framework, and Azure DevOps. We already have an existing UI automation framework and CI/CD implementation. Our primary goal is to improve framework stability, optimize maintainability, and resolve pipeline reliability issues. This is not a role for someone who only writes automated test cases. We are looking for an engineer who can analyze an existing automation ecosystem, identify root causes of failures, and make technical improvements with minimal guidance. Responsibilities • Analyze and improve an existing Robot Framework automation framework • Investigate and resolve Azure DevOps pipeline failures • Identify and fix flaky tests • Troubleshoot test execution issues across environments • Improve framework maintainability and scalability • Review framework architecture and recommend improvements • Analyze logs, reports, and execution data to determine root causes • Work independently to diagnose and solve technical problems Required Experience • Strong Python experience • Strong Robot Framework experience • Experience building, maintaining, or refactoring automation frameworks • Azure DevOps experience • CI/CD troubleshooting experience • UI test automation experience • Git experience • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Nice to Have • Selenium • Parallel test execution • Test framework architecture experience • Experience improving large automation suites Important Access to AI-assisted development tools is limited in our environment due to security restrictions.
