Mobile App Developer for Ongoing Development

We are seeking an experienced mobile app developer or development agency to take ownership of the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development and be able to work independently to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include updating existing apps, fixing bugs, and implementing new features to improve user experience. Responsibilities Understand and take ownership of the existing codebase. Develop new features and functionality. Improve user experience and interface design. Fix bugs and performance issues. Ensure compatibility with the latest iOS and Android releases. Maintain security and data protection standards. Integrate third-party APIs and services. Optimise application speed and reliability. Manage version releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Provide technical recommendations for future enhancements. Work closely with our management team on product strategy. Required Skills Strong experience developing commercial mobile applications. Flutter or React Native (preferred if applicable). Native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java) experience. Backend development (Node.js, .NET, PHP, Python or similar). REST API development and integration. Database management (Firebase, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or similar). Cloud hosting (AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud). Git version control. App Store and Google Play deployment. Mobile security best practices. Performance optimisation and debugging. Nice to Have UI/UX design experience. AI integration (OpenAI, Gemini or similar). Push notification implementation. Analytics integration. Payment gateway experience.
