Senior Serverless Full-Stack Engineer Needed for Existing SaaS Platform We are looking for a highly experienced engineer to join our team and help complete, stabilise, and improve an existing SaaS platform. This is not a greenfield project. The product already exists, has a real codebase, existing architecture, tests, integrations, and partially completed flows. Some parts need fixing, some need refactoring, and some important features still need to be finished. About the platform Automatum is a SaaS platform that integrates with cloud marketplaces and CRM systems. The platform supports flows such as marketplace listings, private offers, imports, co-sell / opportunity flows, and CRM integrations. Current stack: Backend: API Gateway, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB Frontend: Vue Authentication: AWS Amplify Integrations: AWS, Azure, HubSpot, with GCP planned Testing: Existing automated tests across most of the application What we need delivered We need someone senior who can come in, understand the existing system, and take ownership of delivery. Important areas include: Completing and fixing marketplace listing flows Completing and improving private offer flows Completing and improving import flows Fixing broken or partially working features Improving HubSpot integration work Supporting AWS and Azure integrations Helping us design and build future GCP integration Refactoring areas of the codebase where needed Maintaining and extending the existing test coverage Working with our two current developers, while still taking responsibility for delivery What we are looking for We need someone who is genuinely experienced with complex production systems. You should be comfortable reading an existing codebase, understanding business logic, debugging issues, improving architecture, and delivering working features without needing everything explained from scratch. Strong experience with the following is important: AWS Lambda / serverless architecture API Gateway DynamoDB Vue AWS Amplify or similar auth flows Third-party API integrations SaaS platforms Testing and test-driven development Refactoring existing production code Working with complex business workflows Experience with AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, Partner Center, private offers, co-sell flows, HubSpot, Salesforce, or GCP Marketplace would be highly valuable. Important note We are not looking for someone who has only worked through AI tools and believes AI can solve everything for them. AI tools are fine as part of your workflow, but this repo is complex and requires a proper engineer who understands software, architecture, debugging, testing, and delivery. If you are not comfortable taking responsibility for a complicated existing codebase, this will not be the right fit. How we will work You will work with two developers already on the team. They can help with context, implementation details, and existing system knowledge, but the expectation is that you will be senior enough to lead the delivery of the assigned work. We want someone who can: Review the current state of the product Identify what is broken or incomplete Create a practical delivery plan Work through the existing codebase Refactor where needed Ship tested, working features Communicate clearly and honestly about progress, blockers, and risks Ideal outcome The ideal person will help us turn the current platform from a partially upgraded product into a stable, production-ready SaaS platform with reliable marketplace, private offer, import, and CRM integration flows
