React / Next.js and Xano Developer for Ongoing Application Support

About the Opportunity Pixado is a small startup web application preparing to move into production. The application has been developed using React, Next.js and a Xano backend. We are looking for an experienced developer, or a small development team, to take over from the current developers and provide ongoing technical support. This is a small-scale, long-term support opportunity. We are not looking for a full-time developer or a complete rebuild of the application. Initial Takeover The engagement will begin with approximately 10 hours of onboarding and knowledge transfer with the current development team. We have prepared a technical inventory workbook that will be used to guide the handover. The selected developer will help us: Review the existing application and architecture Understand the React and Next.js codebase Review the Xano backend, APIs and database Confirm access to GitHub, hosting and third-party services Review the deployment process Identify any missing documentation or access Document important technical information Highlight any immediate risks or concerns The objective is to ensure that the new developer understands the application and can confidently support it after go-live. Ongoing Support Following the takeover, the developer may be asked to assist with: Application maintenance Bug fixes Production support Monitoring and troubleshooting React and Next.js updates Xano backend and API changes Minor product improvements Third-party integration updates Deployments and technical documentation The work will be assigned based on Pixado’s needs. There are no guaranteed weekly or monthly hours. Pixado will maintain a bucket of up to approximately 200 hours that may be approved and used over time. Before starting larger tasks, the developer will be expected to provide a reasonable estimate for approval. Technology The application currently uses: React Next.js Xano GitHub Third-party APIs and integrations Experience with React, Next.js and Xano is important. Experience with Stripe, OpenAI, Gemini, SendGrid, PDF generation or other API integrations would be an asset. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has practical experience with React and Next.js Has experience working with Xano Can understand and maintain an application built by another team Is comfortable troubleshooting production issues Communicates clearly Provides realistic estimates Documents important changes Is available for occasional, ongoing support Is interested in building a long-term working relationship We are open to an independent developer or a small development company. If applying as a company, please identify the primary developer who would work with us.
