AI engineer & developer

We're a growing company doing too much by hand: reporting, data entry, moving information between tools. We're looking for an AI automation engineer to change that — someone who can look at how we work, spot what should be automated, and then actually build it. What you'll do - Create Claude supported customer support agent that will help and automate part of the tickets that we receive daily. - Build small, reliable automation scripts and integrations — pulling advertising data (Meta Ads, Google Ads) into Google Sheets, connecting tools via APIs, MCPs, scheduled jobs, alerting What else you'll do - Audit our current workflows and propose a prioritized automation roadmap (quick wins first) - Review and improve scripts we've drafted with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) — make them production-safe: error handling, secrets management, monitoring - Set up AI-assisted workflows (LLM APIs, agents, tools like Claude Code where appropriate) - Help us design and build an internal portal where these automations come together What we're looking for - Solid software development fundamentals (you can read, write, and debug real code — Python, JavaScript/Apps Script, or similar) - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and scheduled/cron jobs - Practical experience building with LLMs and AI coding tools — you use them daily and know their failure modes - Experience with marketing/ads APIs (Meta Marketing API, Google Ads API, Shopify API) - You can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical people in plain language - Proactive: you tell us what to automate, not just wait for tickets Tech stack you must know: Backend C# / .NET 10 — Clean Architecture + CQRS (MediatR), non-negotiable PostgreSQL + Entity Framework Core ASP.NET Core — REST APIs, auth, background services Docker / docker-compose Frontend React 19 + TypeScript Vite, Tailwind CSS v4, shadcn/ui React Router v7 Integrations Shopify API — GraphQL specifically (strong experience required) Comfortable working with multiple third-party API integrations (accounting software, currency services, etc.) — ability to read docs and integrate new services independently Workflow & tooling Git — clean commits, branching, PR discipline GitHub — code review, issues, project tracking GitHub Actions / Workflows — CI/CD pipelines, automated builds and deploys To apply, briefly describe: (1) one automation you built that saved a company real time, (2) your experience with ad platform APIs or Google Workspace automation, and (3) how you use AI tools in your own development workflow.
