Computational Mathematician / Python or MATLAB Developer to Analyze Novel Integer Grid

Budget: $20.0 - $40.0 HOURLY / PART_TIME ⭐ 5.00 (3) USA

matlab, machine-learning, data-science, algorithm-development

I have developed a computer program that generates a large two-dimensional integer divisor grid. The grid contains visually apparent geometric structures, including families of parabolic curves and other repeating patterns. I am looking for someone to help analyze these structures computationally rather than manually. This is a mathematical research project, not a commercial software project. The ideal candidate should have experience with: Python (preferred), MATLAB, Mathematica, or Julia Computational mathematics Number theory (helpful but not required) Image analysis and pattern recognition Curve fitting and geometric pattern detection Algorithm development Data visualization The project would begin with: Understanding how the divisor grid is generated. Loading the grid into software. Developing algorithms to automatically detect repeating geometric structures. Identifying families of parabolas or other curves. Looking for mathematical rules governing these structures. I am not looking for someone simply to rewrite existing code. I am looking for someone interested in exploring an unusual mathematical object. Please include examples of mathematical or scientific programming projects you have completed. This project may appeal to someone who enjoys recreational mathematics, experimental mathematics, or discovering hidden structure in numerical data.
