AI Agent Engineer for Open Claw

Summary Project Overview We are looking for a skilled AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and deploy Open Claw, an autonomous yet supervised AI Agent system focused on intelligent research, content creation, workflow automation, and publishing support. The goal of Open Claw is to help teams move faster by automating repetitive digital operations while keeping humans fully in control of final decisions. The agent should be capable of researching topics, generating high-quality outputs, requesting approval, and executing approved actions through connected tools and APIs. Core Agent Workflow & Responsibilities The developed Open Claw Agent must be capable of executing the following pipeline: Research & Intelligence Gathering Monitor selected websites, RSS feeds, APIs, documents, keywords, or databases to discover relevant information, trends, opportunities, and updates. Content & Output Generation Generate structured, high-quality drafts, summaries, reports, social media posts, email copy, or other content based on predefined brand voice, formatting rules, and business goals. Human-in-the-Loop Approval Send generated outputs to a human operator through Slack, Discord, Email, or a custom dashboard. The agent should pause and wait for the user to choose actions such as Approve, Edit, Reject, or Regenerate. Automated Execution Once approved, Open Claw should automatically complete the next action, such as publishing content, scheduling posts, updating a database, sending emails, creating tasks, or triggering external workflows. State Tracking & Audit Logs Maintain a clear record of each task’s status, including Draft, Pending Approval, Approved, Rejected, Scheduled, Published, or Failed. The system should provide visibility into every action the agent takes. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience building autonomous AI agents or multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or automation platforms such as n8n, Make.com, or Zapier. Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar models. Experience integrating third-party APIs, webhooks, databases, and workflow automation tools. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, agent memory, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, and reliable output formatting. Experience designing Human-in-the-Loop approval systems with notifications and approval controls. Ability to set up state management using databases such as PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, MongoDB, or similar. Familiarity with deployment, monitoring, logging, and error handling for production-ready AI systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with social media APIs, CRM tools, email platforms, or content scheduling platforms. Ability to design scalable agent workflows with clear guardrails and permission controls. Experience building dashboards or simple admin UIs for managing agent activity. Understanding of security best practices for API keys, user data, and automated publishing actions. Ideal Outcome The final Open Claw system should operate as a reliable AI-powered workflow assistant that can research, create, request approval, and execute tasks automatically while ensuring that every important decision remains under human supervision.
