Playwright Developer for Interactive Portal Scraping with SMS 2FA

I am looking for an experienced browser automation and web scraping specialist to build a reliable data extraction workflow for an interactive online data portal. The task involves navigating a dynamic web interface, opening individual object or detail windows, extracting structured record information, handling authenticated sessions and occasional SMS based two factor authentication, and exporting the results into a structured Excel file. This is not a simple static HTML table scrape. The portal requires browser automation, session handling, dynamic element interaction, error recovery, and consistent data extraction. The solution should include: • Browser automation using Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer, or a comparable tool • Navigation through an interactive map-like or portal-based interface • Extraction of data from dynamic popups and multi-step workflows • Integration with an SMS provider through API or webhook to handle occasional 2FA verification • Stable session handling and recovery after session expiration or browser errors • Structured Excel output • Logging of failed, skipped, or unclear records • Ability to resume the extraction process without restarting everything • Delivery of the complete source code, dependencies, and setup instructions The workflow must be repeatable and should not depend on manual data collection or only work on the freelancer’s own computer. The project will be awarded after a technical discussion and review of relevant experience or previous project examples. Once hired, the first deliverable will be a working end-to-end demonstration on a small batch. This will be a small milestone and should include data extraction, session handling, Excel output, and error logging. Full-scale extraction will proceed only after the demonstration has been reviewed and accepted. Basic German reading skills are a plus, as parts of the portal interface are in German, but this is not mandatory.
