QA & Data Analyst

We are looking for a QA & Data Analyst who combines strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset. The role is primarily focused on analyzing large volumes of retail data, ensuring data consistency and accuracy, identifying optimization opportunities, and supporting process automation initiatives. Approximately 20% of the role will involve testing a desktop application, including creation and maintenance of automated tests. Data Analysis & Quality Assurance (80%) 1. Analyze large volumes of retail and business data to identify trends, anomalies, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities. 2. Validate data quality, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources and platforms. 3. Investigate discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis. 4. Monitor data integrity and ensure data is processed according to business requirements. 5. Research and analyze retailer platforms, websites, and data sources to understand data structures and identify potential improvements. 6. Develop recommendations for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements. 7. Identify and implement non-standard approaches and creative solutions to complex data challenges. 8. Prepare analytical reports and findings using Excel, SQL, and Power BI. 9. Support operational and data-related activities as needed. 10. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, analysts, and project stakeholders to improve data quality and business processes. QA & Testing (20%) 1. Perform functional testing of desktop applications and related tools. 2. Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios. 3. Develop and maintain automated tests where applicable. 4. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing. 5. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on product quality and usability. 6. Document testing results and communicate issues clearly to the development team. Required Skills 1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 2. Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation. 3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. 4. Basic SQL knowledge (ability to write simple queries, filters, joins, aggregations). 5. Basic Power BI knowledge as a report consumer and analyst. 6.
