itle: Algo Trading Developer — Optimize Strategies + Low-Latency Execution (Tradovate / TradersPost) + L2 / GEX / Flow Data
Overview:
I have 2–3 trading strategies I want optimized and taken to the next level. I'm currently running signals out of TradingView, but the delay is a dealbreaker for me. I'm looking for a seasoned algo/quant developer who's done this before — someone who can sharpen the strategies, recommend the best low-latency execution path, and integrate richer market data.
Scope of work:
Review and optimize 2–3 existing strategies — logic, parameters, and risk management
Advise on and implement the best execution approach for reducing latency: TradersPost vs. a direct Tradovate API integration. TradingView webhook signals are too delayed for what I need, and I want someone who genuinely knows the tradeoffs and can build the better path.
Integrate additional data sources: Level 2 order book, GEX (gamma exposure), and/or options flow
Backtest and validate the improvements against data
Must have:
Proven algo/automated trading development experience
Hands-on experience with TradersPost and/or the Tradovate API
Familiar with TradingView / Pine Script and its webhook latency limitations
Experience adding L2, GEX, and/or flow data into a strategy or execution pipeline
Solid backtesting and data-handling skills
Nice to have:
Futures trading experience
Comfortable in Python (or your relevant stack — tell me what you use)
To apply, please include:
A similar algo/execution project you've built (what it did, what stack)
Which execution path you'd recommend for low latency — TradersPost or direct Tradovate API — and why
Your specific experience with L2, GEX, or flow data
