Upwork Job Posting AI Automation Specialist – Yelp Review Auto-Response & Multi-Location Integration Project Overview We are seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer to build a fully automated Yelp review management system for our restaurant group, Shawarma Guys, which currently operates three restaurant locations. Our goal is to automatically detect every new Yelp review and generate an intelligent AI-powered response that is then posted back to Yelp with minimal or no manual intervention. This is not a basic chatbot project. We are looking for someone experienced with APIs, AI, automation workflows, webhooks, and multi-location business integrations. Business Locations Our Yelp Business accounts include three locations: Shawarma Guys – South Park Shawarma Guys – Mira Mesa Shawarma Guys – La Mesa Each location must operate independently while following the same AI response framework. Project Goals Build an automated system that: Monitors all three Yelp Business pages 24/7 Detects every new review Pulls all review information including: Review text Star rating Customer name Review date Business location Photos (if available) Sends the review into an AI model Generates a personalized response based on our business guidelines Automatically posts the response back to the correct Yelp Business page Prevents duplicate replies Logs every interaction for auditing and reporting Required Features Review Monitoring The system should automatically detect: New reviews Updated reviews (if supported) Edited reviews Review status AI Response Generation Responses should never sound robotic. The AI should: Thank customers appropriately Personalize every reply Reference details mentioned in the review Match our restaurant's tone Avoid repeating responses Handle positive, neutral, and negative reviews differently Be capable of using custom prompts that we provide Maintain brand consistency Response Logic Example behavior: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank the guest. An experienced developer should know this. A compliant solution typically involves: Using Yelp's official notifications (email or supported integrations) to detect new reviews. Generating AI responses automatically. Either presenting the response for one-click approval, or using an officially supported business integration if available. If someone tells you they can fully automate posting replies through an undocumented API or browser automation without mentioning Yelp's Terms of Service, that's a red flag. Ask them to explain exactly how they'll implement it while remaining compliant with Yelp's policies.
