Elixir Tutoring Support

Tutor Needed: Elixir / Concurrent Systems (1 week, paid) What I need help with: I have an Elixir project I need to complete over the next week and I'm looking for a tutor to guide me through it. I haven't coded in a few months so I need someone to help me get back up to speed quickly and think through the design properly. The project involves: Building a concurrent network I/O tool from scratch in Elixir Structuring it as production-quality code with good test coverage Making and defending clear design decisions and trade-offs Using HTTP libraries and HTML parsing What I'm looking for: Strong Elixir experience (OTP, GenServer, Task, concurrency primitives) Comfortable structuring real Elixir projects (mix, supervision trees) Can help me think through architecture and trade-offs, not just syntax Familiar with Req or HTTPoison, and Floki Good at explaining why behind every decision — I need to be able to defend my choices Format: 3–5 sessions over the next week (flexible on timing) Screen-share / pair programming style I want to understand and own every line — please don't just hand me solutions Topics we'll likely cover: Elixir syntax and idioms refresher Process design and supervision trees Managing shared state and avoiding duplicate work across concurrent processes HTTP and HTML parsing in Elixir Writing ExUnit tests for concurrent code Articulating design trade-offs clearly About me: Software engineering background, know Elixir but haven't coded in a few months.
