Senior Full-Stack Developer for Vertical SaaS Platform

We are an architecture and design-led team building a new vertical SaaS platform for managing complex project and property information. We are seeking a senior full-stack developer to help build the next major version of the application. The product involves structured relational data, complex file management, workflow and status tracking, multi-user permissions, search and filtering, and client-facing views. A detailed product specification, data model, workflows, and design materials have already been developed and will be shared with shortlisted candidates under NDA. ## What You’ll Work On The application includes: * Structured data entry and management * Relational records across multiple entity types * Data-heavy dashboards, tables, filters, and search * Secure file upload, storage, organization, and preview * File and record versioning * Workflow, status, and approval tracking * Multi-user authentication and role-based permissions * Internal and client-facing views * Responsive, production-ready UI The application will manage large and complex files, but the initial scope does not require building any scanning, computer vision, or 3D-processing technology. ## Ideal Technical Experience We are primarily looking for strong experience with: * TypeScript * React and Next.js * Node.js / TypeScript APIs * PostgreSQL and complex relational data modeling * Prisma or a comparable ORM * Authentication and role-based access control * AWS S3 or comparable object storage * Secure large-file uploads and signed URLs * Versioning and audit-history logic * Responsive, data-heavy interfaces * Testing, documentation, and production deployment Our anticipated stack includes Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, managed authentication, S3-compatible storage, Vercel, and GitHub. We are open to equivalent modern stacks where there is a clear technical rationale. ## Particularly Relevant Experience Experience with any of the following is especially relevant: * File-heavy SaaS platforms * Document or information management systems * Complex relational data models * Versioning and audit-history workflows * Role-based permissions and client portals * Architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, or other technical vertical SaaS products Industry experience is helpful but not required. Strong product thinking and experience building complex, structured applications are more important. ## Engagement We anticipate a milestone-based initial engagement with the potential for substantial ongoing work as the platform evolves. * Estimated initial development period: approximately 6–10 weeks * Fixed-price milestones preferred; structured hourly arrangements may also be considered * Regular asynchronous communication and short check-ins * Working demos at major milestones * NDA required before access to proprietary product specifications and materials * All project code and work product will be owned by the client ## How to Apply Please include: 1.
